Coaching Experience

I have coached athletes ranging from beginners to age group level at a local triathlon club, giving me experience working with diverse skill levels and training needs. This hands-on coaching experience has taught me how to adapt training approaches for different abilities and goals.

I hold a Level 2 Gym Instruction qualification, which provides me with the technical knowledge and safety expertise needed to design and supervise effective strength and conditioning programs. This formal qualification ensures I can deliver safe, structured training sessions.

My personal athletic journey - including 11 years in triathlon, Paralympic pathway guidance experience, and achieving a national podium in track cycling just 6 months after starting - gives me unique insight into the challenges athletes face and what it takes to achieve breakthrough performances.

I specialize in bridging the gap between strength and conditioning and sport-specific technique, ensuring athletes develop comprehensive fitness while maintaining proper form and preventing injuries. My coaching philosophy centers on sustainable progress, realistic goal-setting, and building confidence through structured achievement.
